ELIZABETH BELLAR
My name is Elizabeth Bellar. I have three (3) children and one (1) grandson. I have been in childcare for over 20 years. I have my Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) and have taken multiple courses in Early Childhood Education. I came to Glenwood Center November 2013 and really enjoy working here with the children. I work in the Koala Room so if you have any questions please feel free to stop by and talk. I'm the one with the MICHIGAN SHIRT on ALWAYS!!!
PENNY CASH-SPILLERS
Hello, my name is Penny Cash. I am a Head Start Teacher in the Purple Room – now called Playful Piglets. I have lived in Ohio all my life (which is really hard being a Michigan fan!). I graduated from Westland High School in June 1999. I have been in the Early Childhood Education field for the past 12 years, six of which have been here at Glenwood.
One thing that hasn’t changed over the year is the joy I get in playing a positive role in the lives of children I have encountered throughout the years. I have two amazing children of my own, Hailey who is 14 and Aiden who just turned 6. We enjoy spending most of our time together; taking walks, playing outside, reading books or playing board games. Family is very important to me and I try to include all of my little friends as well for they are part of my family too!
