In order to prepare for school, we feel that it is essential the children experience learning through hands on activities to keep children actively involved. The children in the orange room learn to recognize letters, explore beginning sounds, understand number concepts and develop character awareness through group, individual and learning center activities.
Our Playful Piglets and Trailblazer rooms are partner rooms with Head Start. They use Creative Curriculum, do regular developmental screenings and work with an Education Specialist to offer the children the best possible Early Childhood learning environment possible.
It is our policy and practice to maintain staff/child ratios required by state law, or lower whenever possible. Our Preschool/Head Start rooms maintain a ratio of 1 adult to 12 children, in groups of no more than 24 children to two teachers
